Kelsey Grammer Faces Divorce with No Prenuptial Agreement

It may have seemed like a good idea at the time, but Kelsey Grammer is probably wishing he had sought a prenuptial agreement with wife Camille Donatucci, who he married in 1997. The 41-year-old former Playboy model filed for divorce on July 1, citing irreconcilable differences.

Camille had just been cast as a member of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and it was known that Grammer was opposed to her participation on the show, which likely would have dragged him into the spotlight as well. It is not known how much of a role that disagreement played in her divorce filing, or if it played a role at all.

Of great concern to Kelsey Grammer, and surely his wife, is the fact that the couple did not sign a prenup before they married. Needless to say, Grammer may be handing out quite a bit of money before all is said and done.

He is especially concerned about money made during Frasier's 11-year-run, at the end of which Grammer commanded well above $1 million per episode. However, since Kelsey and Camille were married during the last seven years of the show, a lot of that money could be going to Camille under community property laws.

Camille has also asked for joint legal custody of the couple's two children, aged nine and six. It's a request echoed by Grammer, though he has also asked for joint physical custody.

As for rumors and accusations, they're already flying. TMZ reported that Grammer did not call his children on Father's Day, which the actor has flat-out denied. With things just heating up, and both child custody and Grammer's fortune at stake, this may only be the beginning.

Jon Gosselin sues Kate for custody of 8 children

READING, Pa. -- Jon Gosselin has sued ex-wife Kate for primary custody of their eight children.

The former reality TV star also asked the Berks County Court on Wednesday to review his child support obligation.

Gosselin's attorney, Anthony List, has previously accused Kate Gosselin of neglecting the children because she appears on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," a charge her attorney rejected as "patently false."

In court papers, Jon Gosselin says his ex-wife "abuses" her authority when it comes to scheduling visits with the kids. He also claims an arbitrator failed to require Kate to provide documentation of the children's expenses.

Can Sandra Bullock Get Custody of Stepdaughter?

Heard Sandra Bullock is going to court to get partial custody of stepdaughter Sunny. What are her chances?
--Marignygirl, via Twitter

Reports are all over the place on what exactly is going on at Casa de Bullock. Camp Sandy is insisting the Oscar winner isn't seeking a divorce--yet. But as for the kids, Bullock has said she has a very tight bond with Sunny, the 6-year-old daughter of Jesse James and his porn-star ex, Janine Lindemulder.

Attorneys tell me that if Bullock wanted to divorce James after all and seek more formal custody of Sunny, or just court-approved visitations, it would be...

...pretty tough.

Let's talk visitation first.

"Bullock would have an uphill climb if she were to seek visitation," Santa Monica-based family lawyer David Pisarra, of the company Pisarra and Grist, says.

Bullock would need to prove "that if she isn't allowed visitation, it would be a detriment to Sunny's well-being. The problem is that judges make their decisions on cases like these by using very exacting standards, which can be difficult to prove."

As for custody, that would involve quite a bit of mudslinging, particularly at Lindemulder or James. Bullock would have to prove that Sunny's biological parents are unfit, and that she would be a better option for the little girl.

"Bullock has earned the reputation of being an all-around 'nice' person, and she may not have it in her to go after someone in the kind of ways that might be necessary to gain custody," Pisarra says.

Another factor: Lindemulder.

Since the news broke about James and alleged mistress Michelle "Bombshell" McGee, Lindemulder has reportedly decided to seek more time with Sunny, and possibly more custodial rights.

"A new wrinkle has been added, as the courts tend to side with the biological mother," Pisarra says. "Of course, judges take a myriad of factors in to consideration, such as drug abuse, poor mothering or if, by giving the biological mother custody, the child would be endangered. If this does go to the courts, we can anticipate a lot of dirty laundry being aired."

One last, very distant, possibility: Adoption.

It isn't likely that Lindemulder would take that lying down, but if Bullock managed to pull it off, her chances of custody would obviously be much higher.

"If that is a possibility, she should do that first, and then consider a divorce," attorney Maya Shulman of the firm Adelman & Seide tells me. "An adoptive parent assumes all rights and responsibilities for an adopted child as does the biological parent--custody, child support, etc."

Cheryl's £22m Split From Ashley Of Chelsea FC

Cheryl Cole's broken marriage is set to cost millions. Talk has already turned to the rumoured £22m fortune she shares with husband Ashley Cole. And that means this could be one very costly divorce battle.

Ashley and Cheryl didn't sign a pre-nuptial agreement when they married in 2006. The X Factor judge and her footballer husband earn a reported £6million a year though their work and sponsorship deals, and they share a £3.5million mansion in Surrey.

It's been said that Cheryl could walk away from the marriage with at least half of their assets. The singer announced her separation from her husband of three-and-a-half years just hours after arriving back in the UK yesterday. Cheryl's friends have been rallying around her, with fellow X Factor judge Louis Walsh saying: "I think the world of Cheryl, she's a great girl. "She deserves somebody amazing. She will be absolutely fine - she's a fantastic, strong star."

Meanwhile, celebrity publicist Max Clifford said the split would boost Cheryl's profile, adding: "It's obviously sad, but she didn't really have any choice. "It must have been a hard decision because clearly she loves him and, in spite of everything, that will have been very, very painful. "You naturally want to believe the best of people that you love."

Nas accused of unpaid child support

Nas has denied a criminal contempt charge for unpaid spousal and child support in his divorce from Kelis.

The rapper pleaded not guilty through his attorney and was ordered back for a March hearing in Los Angeles.

Kelis' lawyer claimed Nas is 200,000 dollars behind on child and spousal support.

He was ordered to pay more than 51,000 dollars per month to his former wife and infant son in December.

Judge David S Cunningham III, who is overseeing the divorce proceedings, said it was starting to look like the rapper is trying to evade court orders.

One of Nas' attorneys, Anthony Ukran, told Cunningham the rapper needs more time to prepare his defence and show he is unable to pay the court-ordered support amounts.

Kelis filed for divorce in May.

California's Child Support Services Program works with parents - custodial and noncustodial - and guardians to ensure children and families receive court-ordered financial and medical support. Child support services are available to the general public through a network of 52 county and regional child support agencies (LCSAs).
